A feeling played.
Marc.Charmey is the musical world of Marc Charmet, a French composer and pianist based in Budapest.
After studying composition at the École Normale de Musique in Paris and playing keyboards with Nuage Project, Marc found his own voice at the piano. A voice drawn to atmosphere, memory, and the emotion in a simple melody.
His music moves between intimate neoclassical piano and ambient textures. Paris and Budapest are recurring landscapes: long walks, misty streets, familiar places seen a little differently.
From solo recordings to his collaboration with Edoardo Gastaldi, there is always room for the listener to bring their own story.
